Fellowships
Investing in young people, law students, early-career lawyers, community researchers, and civic technologists across West Africa.
Applications opening soon for our inaugural cohort
Having emerged directly from fellowship roots, we understand that real regional impact requires practical investment in the next generation of legal defenders. The Internet for Rights Fellowship will provide dedicated mentorship, project stipends, and practical litigation exposure.
Selected fellows will work directly on live research briefs, platform fine-print audits, and grassroots legal clinics supporting community defenders across Nigeria and Sub-Saharan Africa.
Strategic Litigation & Digital Rights Practice
Designed specifically for undergraduate law students and law school candidates passionate about public-interest technology law. Fellows receive hands-on training in drafting pleadings, authenticating electronic evidence under statutory rules, analyzing platform terms of service, and challenging arbitrary digital controls.
